Marginal note: Balance of Part II appropriation
- 120 (1) Any amount that, before the coming into force of this section, had been appropriated for the purpose of enabling the Minister to make grants under Part II of the Railway Relocation and Crossing Act but had not been authorized by the Minister to be so granted shall, after the coming into force of this section, be deemed to have been appropriated for the purpose of making grants under section 13 of this Act.
- Marginal note: Balance of Part III appropriation (2) Any amount that, before the coming into force of this section, had been appropriated for the purpose of making grants under Part III of the Railway Relocation and Crossing Act but had not been authorized pursuant to that Part to be so granted shall, after the coming into force of this section, be deemed to have been appropriated for the purpose of making grants under section 12 of this Act.
- Marginal note: Outstanding grant applications (3) Any application for a grant in respect of a proposed railway work that, before the coming into force of this section, had been made under Part II or III of the Railway Relocation and Crossing Act but had not been dealt with under that Act may, at the request of the party who made the application and with the consent of the Minister, be treated as if it were an application duly filed in accordance with the requirements of section 12 or 13 of this Act, and may be dealt with accordingly by the Minister.
